Abstract

POSITAL has been integrating bus interfaces into absolute encoders since the mid-1990s. The following text will introduce the new CANopen encoders for SIL3 applications as well as certified EtherNet/IP encoders. The magnetic multiturn encoder series, where the multiturn encoding is based on a wiegand sensor  is another innovation.
